I’m Sarah. I turn complex things into stories people actually care about.

A strategic marketing leader with an unconventional path— from
co-founding a boutique yoga studio in Shanghai to driving content strategy for a fast growing health tech start up. I’ve spent the last several years translating product concepts into stories that stick and drive real growth.

I’ve been described as a marketing Swiss Army knife—my tool of choice is actually a Leatherman.

Most recently: Content & Marketing Director at Playback Health, where I led multi-channel campaigns, managed creative teams, and transformed insane tech data into interesting narratives that convert.

Previously: Built brands and communities across health tech, workplace wellness, architecture, and yeah, the yoga studio thing that taught me serious grit and creative resilience. (I still teach classes! If you wanna know more about that, just ask. I love talking about yoga.)

TL;DR: I make complex stories simple, boring topics interesting, and good stories great.

Nice things colleagues have said about working with me

“Sarah is a content mastermind and amazing writer. In the year that I reported to her I learned so much about how to craft and write a good hook, what makes a brand powerful, and also the ins and outs of marketing analytics. I arrived at Playback Health part-time, and Sarah was such an effective mentor that I ended up running social media there within a few months.

She's the perfect manager in that she has high standards and a critical eye, but values her direct reports' autonomy and confidence just as much. She shared strategies and books with me and always made sure I had the support I needed. I'd recommend her both as a standout marketing professional but also as a manager and team whisperer.”

— Liz Desio-Frick, Social and Community Manager

“Thoughtful, highly collaborative, process driven and still somehow easy going and fun to work with. Sarah’s writing is clever, clear, and precise. A great creative partner.”

— Bryan Lavery, Art Director

“Sarah is a natural marketing leader. Her work flows directly from her inner self, resulting in a professional/personal profile that are one-in-the-same: easy going at setting strategic direction, committed to brand impact and effortless at coalescing teams around essential orders of operation.”

— Colin Pomory, Head of Customer Success

I love reading, writing, and riding horses. Last great book I read: “Glorious Exploits” by Ferdia Lennon.
